Estraikh, Gennady was born on April 7, 1952 in Zaporozhe, Ukraine. Son of Yakov and Hesia Estraikh.


Master of Science with honors in Radio Engineering, Zaporozhe Technology University, 1974. Doctor of Philosophy, University Oxford, England, 1996.
