Employed at Admiralty and Portsmouth Dockyard till 1884. Naval Constructor, Bombay and Calcutta, 1884-S7. Chatham, 1887-1889; Inspector of Admiralty Overseers, 1890-1892.
Chief Constructor, Devonport, 1892-1895. Chatham, 1895- 1897; Civil Technical Assistant to Admiral Superintendent i at Devonport, 1897-1905. Manager at Devonport, 1900.
Retired, 1900.
