Career
Starting in film in 1930, he moved to television in its early days. He is credited with hundreds of cartoons spanning the period 1937-1983. Gordon had begun working with animation in 1930 at the Moser-Terry-Coffman Studio as an animator on the series of Jesse and James and Farmer First Rate (at Lloyd's) Falfa.
After two years, he had decided to move to Terrytoons along with one of his previous employers named Paul Terry.
In the year of 1937, Gordon had decided to leave Terrytoons and he moved to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Cartoon Studio ir order to be able to work as an animator as well as a director During his career at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, he was able to work on the and along with others
Gordon was promoted after a few years to the director position on animations such as: A Bully Frog (1936) The Busy Bee (1936) Robin Hood in an Arrow Escape (1936) Farmer First Rate (at Lloyd's) Falfa Kiko the Kangaroo Puddy the Pup.
