The firm's most important works included such buildings as the Postal Tele¬graph Cable Company office on Broadway at Murray Street, 1892; Gerker Building, Broadway and Chambers Street; Holland House (Hotel) Fifth Avenue and 30th Street, 1891; the Dun Building, Broadway and Read Street, 1897; Queen's Insurance Company Building; and St. Peter's Catholic Church on Staten Island, the cornerstone of which was laid on October 7, 1900. During later years he served as Deputy-Superintendent on New York schools.
