George worked as an art instructor in Covington, Kentucky, United States From 1968 to 1971. Since 1969 he worked at the Ahrens High School in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. He held this position until 1972. In two years he became a Professor if the Art-Concord College in Athens, West Virginia, United States. He worked there for two years. From 1975 to 1976 George worked at the Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, United States. In a year he worked at the College of New Rochelle in New York, United States. He worked there until 1982. Since 1983 he worked at the Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, New York, United States. He worked there until 2004.
