George was born on 23 March in 1941 in Louisa, Kentucky, United States.

Education

George received a degree of the Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science in 1967 in Morehead State University of Kentucky, United States. He graduated from Air Staff and Command College in Montgomery, Alabama, United States and Air University in 1975.

Career

George worked at the USAF from 1959 to 1965. From October 1959 to August 1960 he had training in Texas, United States. In August 1960 George worked at the United States Air Force Security Service in Japan, Philippines, Okinawa, and Scotland. He worked there until August 1964. In August 1964 he became a budget analyst of the United States Air Forces in Europe in London, United Kingdom. He worked there until March 1965.

From1967 to 1971 he worked for the United States Air Force in Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio, United States as a contract specialist for six years. In 1971 He became a contracting officer for the US Government. In 1977 he was appointed a contracting officer and chief of contract administration for the USAF Detachment CASA in Getafe, Spain. He worked there for a year.

In 1978 George worked as a contracting officer in RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom. He worked there until 1981. In this year he became a contracting officer at RAF Upper Heyford. He was promoted to deputy commander of the USAF Regional Contracting Office RAF Upper Heyford in 1986. In 1990 he became chief of the United States Army Regional Contracting Office RAF Burtonwood in Warrington, United Kingdom. He worked there until his retirement from the Department of the Army after a total of 32 years of military and federal civilian service.
