Entered Public Works Department, India, as Assistant Engineer, 1869. And served in the Irrigation, and in the Roads and Buildings branches till he retired, 1903. Chief Engineer Assam and Public Works.
Secretary to Chief Commissioner of Assam, 1901-1903. Superintending Engineer for Irrigation, His (or Her) Highness The Nizam’s Public Works Department, Hyderabad, Deccan, 1903-1909.
