Superintendent work for American Baptist Public Society in western states, 1911-1919. Joint secretary, states west of Mississippi River for American Baptist Publication Society and American Baptist Home Mission Society, 1919-1923. Western representative American Baptist Publication Society.

Director Northern Baptist Corresponding School, 1923-1926, western secretary Baptist Ministers and Missionaries Benefit Board, 1926-1928. Associate secretary Baptist Ministers and Missionaries Benefit Board, 1928-1941, field secretary 1941-1943.
