Studied at College of Saint Servais, Li6ge. Oscott College, near Birmingham. Student of Royal Academy, London, 1868.
Pupil of the late East. Welby Pugin, 1856-1860.
Practised as an architect in Ireland in partnership with the late East. West. Pugin, 1860-1870, afterwards independently. Principal buildings—Steamship Peter and Paul’s Church, Cork, Queenstown Cathedral, and about 50 other churches in Ireland. Gained many competitions, including Fortrane Asylum, w"hich cost about £300,000.
