Educated Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri.

Career

Mining engineer since 1886. Operated and owned important mines and metallurgical piants in Mexico, principally between 1898 and 1910. Now retired. Trustee Village of Rye, 1903-1904, United Hospital of Rye since 1909 (president 1911-1921).

Director Engineering Foundation of New York.

Membership

Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Member American Institute Mining and Metallurgical Engineers (treasurer 1918-1922). Clubs: Union League, Engineers’, Apawamis Golf, Blind Brook, American Yacht, Clove Valley Rod and Gun, Onteora, Lake Placid.
