Graduated from Army War College, Washington, 1914.

Career

Commissioned Second lieutenant 3d Cavalry, June 12, 1880. First lieutenant, November 26, 1884. Captain, March 15, 1896.

Major 28th United States Vol. Infantry, July 5, 1899. Honorary mustered out vols., May 1, 1901.

Major 9th United States Cavalry, April 27, 1903. Military secretary, December 8, 1906. Assigned to 3d Cavalry, December 8, 1910.

Lieutenant colonel 11th Cavalry, March 3, 1911. Colonel 15th Cavalry, April 26, 1914.
