Entered Royal Academy, schools, 1881. Gold Medal and Travelling Studentship, 1887. Since then gold and silver medals, and other honours in France, Germany, Belgium, and America, including Medaille d’Honneur at the Paris Exposition, 1900.
Has executed many memorials and statues, including that of His (or Her) Majesty Queen Victoria for Calcutta, Southport, St. Helens, Newcastle-onTyne, Winnipeg, and Leeds. Designed the terracotta decoration on the Constitutional Club. The sculpture on the Glasgow Art Galleries.
The whole of the sculpture on the exterior of Lloyd’s Register, City. The entrance to Electra House, Moorgate Street, City. Spandrels at entrance of the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Figures on the spire of St. Mary’s, Oxford. Saints on the shrine of William of Wykehain, Winchester Cathedral. Has designed and executed works in ivory, silver, enamels, etc.
The City Imperial Volunteers meda. Many other medals, including Coronation medal.
