Railroad As chief engineer, had charge construction Hopatcong Slateford cut-off, one of heaviest pieces of construction work yet accomplished on any railroad. In charge design and building Tunkhannock viaduct, Nicholson, Pennsylvania, largest concrete bridge ever built (2,375 foot long, 243 foot high).
