Career

Commissioned additional Second lieutenant 5th Artillery, June 12, 1889. Second lieutenant 3d Artillery, February 11, 1890. First lieutenant 5th Artillery, September 23, 1897.

Captain a.q.m. vols., July 13, 1899. Honorary discharged vols., March 21, 1901. Captain Artillery Corps, United States Army, February 28, 1901.

Promoted through grades to major general, March 1928.
