The firm became McClung, Peters and Simon in 1931, when Homer East. Peters and George M. Simon joined Benjamin McClung to form a full-service law firm. The son of a railroad engineer, Homer Peters soon brought fame to the firm as a crusader for the rights of injured railroad workers.
