Career

Admitted to Massachusetts bar, 1907, began practice at Boston. Assistant United State Attorneys, Massachusetts, 1925-1926, acting United State Attorneys, 1926. Assistant United State Attorneys general, 1927-1930.

Former professor of law Suffolk U. Law School. Former lecturer on admiralty law, federal jurisdiction and practice at Boston University Law School, former lecturer law Boston College Law School. Special counsel Finance Commission for City of Boston to conduct investigation into municipal administration, 1934-1935.

Special Corporate Counsel City of Boston in charge continuance said investigation, 1935. Special counsel Finance Commission, City of Boston, to conduct further investigations into municipal administration, 1937. President New England Anti-Vivisection Society.
