Palovich, George Wesley was born on January 31, 1939 in Lorain, Ohio, United States. Son of George Joseph and Josephine L. Palovich.

Education

Bachelor of Education in Art, University Toledo, 1960. Master of Fine Arts in Pottery and Ceramic Sculpture, Kent State University, 1965.

Career

Instructor San Antonio (Texas) Art Institute, 1960-1962. Teacher, supervisor Akron (Ohio) Art Institute, 1965-1966. Clay artist, painter, printmaker Ohio, Texas, Colorado, Arizona, since 1967.

Assistant curator West Valley Art Museum, Surprise, Arizona, 1992-1993, curator, since 1993. Instructor ceramics Recreation Centers, Sun City and Sun City West, since 1988. Member grant review panel Arizona Commission Arts, Phoenix, during 1997.

Member Meeting of Minds Symposium, Glendale Community College. Demonstrator pottery and sculpture Arizona public schools. Juror numerous Arizona exhibitions. Contributor to various art organizations of art for fund raising.
