He designed wallpaper. Works by Zipélius are held in the collection of the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum and the Deutsches Tapetenmuseum. The wallpaper piece, El Dorado, in the collection of the Cooper-Hewitt, was co-designed by Zipélius and Eugène Ehrmann and Joseph Fuchs.
