KRIVCHENKO, Georgiy was born on April 15, 1883 in village Kibintsi, now Poltava Oblast.
Studied at Saint St. Petersburg Polytech Institute. 1910 graduate Munich University.
1905 expelled from Saint St. Petersburg Polytech Institute for revol activities and exiled to Velikiy Ustyug. Later permitted to emigrate. After return to Russia worked for statistical offices in Penza and Saratov.
After 1917 October Revol worked mainly for sci and higher educational establishments in Kiev. 1919-1920 associate, Institute of Demography, Ukraine Academy of Sciences. 1922-1931 and 1956-1960 professor, Kiev Institute of National Economy.
1932-1933 head, Economy Group, Kuybyshev Hydropower Complex Planning Office. 1943-1952 professor, Kiev University and associate, Kiev Institute of Geography. Also worked for Ukraine statistical offices and various economics planning bodies.
Wrote a number of monographs and economic reviews of Ukraine Soviet Socialist Republic, et cetera Compiled various statistical handbooks.
