Georgiy LATYSHEV, USSR Physicist. Doctor of Physico-Mathematical Science since 1940; full member, Kazakhstan Academy of Sciences, since 1958; Director, Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kazakhstan Academy of Sciences, since 1958.


LATYSHEV, Georgiy was born in 1907.


Graduated Petrograd Polytechn. Institute.


1945-1958 corresponding member, Ukrainia Academy of Sciences. For 30 years has specialized in the physics of the atomic nucleus. In 1932 his laboratory was the first in USSR to disintegrate a lithium atom nucleus.


Since religion offers a complete set of answers to the problems of purpose, morality, origins, or science, it discourages exploration of those areas by suppressing curiosity, denies its followers a broader perspective, and prevents social, moral and scientific progress.


Marxism–Leninism as the only truth could not, by its very nature, become outdated.
