1932 graduated Moscow Institute of History, and Philosophy.

Career

Specialist in the hist, of foreign philosophy and sociology. 1947-1954 Director, Institute of Philosophy, USSR Academy of Science. 1947 drew Party criticism for “deviation from the Party principle in philosophy”, “objectivism” and “unparalleled cosmopolitanism”, traits which appeared in the book “Istoriya zapadnoevropeyskoy filosofii” (A History of West European Philosophy).
