He graduated from the courses of junior lieutenants (1938), the Leningrad Military Artillery School (1940), the Higher Officer Artillery School (1949).
Career
Division officer of the 5th Guards Airborne Field Regiment (37th Army, the Steppe Front). Was distinguished by steam-crossing the Dnieper River operations on October 1, 1943, near the village of Perevolochna (now Svetlogovskoe village, Kobeliaky district, Poltava region, Ukrainian SSR) and in further battles.
During 05-13 October 1943, Glebov's division repelled 15 enemy counterattacks, destroyed 10 tanks and over 400 enemy soldiers and officers. October 14, 1943, when the tank counterattack was repelled by direct fire from a distance of 80-100 meters, 6 tanks, and 2 self-propelled artillery mounts were destroyed. Since 1958 reserved Lieutenant Colonel. He worked as a chief of the division at the Levoberezhny regional military commissariat.
