Since childhood he have performed in the ensemble of his father. Georgy graduated from the directing department of the State Institute of Theatrical Art named after A.V. Lunacharsky (1972, the course of I.G/ Sharoev).
In 1945-1949 Georgy lived in Voronezh. In 1961-1968 he was an artist of the theater "Romaine". Since 1973, the director of the theater "Romaine", on the stage of which he staged a number of performances, among them: "Hot Blood", "Madness", "Viva, Carmen!" (By his own play) and others. Many times was on tour in Voronezh. Since 1982 he was the teacher of the State Institute of Theatrical Art named after A.V. Lunacharsky (now the Russian Academy of Theater Arts) and a Professor since 2000.
