Georgy Solomonovich studied in the studio affiliated with the Central Children's Theater in Moscow (1946-1948). He graduated from the Department of Musical Theater of The Russian University of Theatre Arts named after A.V. Lunacharsky (1954).
Georgy Solomonovich worked as a director and chief director in the theaters of Kazan (1954-1960), Tashkent (1961-1966), Gorky (1966-1975). Since 1976, the chief director of the Chelyabinsk Opera and Ballet Theater. In the Voronezh Opera and Ballet Theater he staged performances of "Donna Juanita" by F. Suppé (1970), "Heigh, Balda!" by B. Kravchenko (1982). Author of several librettos for operas and ballets. He also taught in schools of Chelyabinsk.
