Achievements include research on synthetic pyrethroids, rotenone and other insecticides and found could be synergized with piperonyl butoxide to enhance effectiveness in field for Colorado potato beetle management; timing of biological insecticide applications is critical foreffective beetle management; potato beetle insecticide resistance isdue, in part, to host plant that beetle feeds on.
