(You can go directly into solo practice from law school an...)
You can go directly into solo practice from law school and start earning money as quickly and to the extent that you would do if you followed the usual job hunting campaign and ultimately took the usual job. The reason that there is some dispute as tot his fact is that so many new lawyers have tried to enter solo practice without knowing how it is properly done. Learning how to start a solo law practice is like learning how to do anything else which requires knowledge and information, The problemsome difference is that so many lawyers don't know what there is to be learned about starting a solo practice and they seek the wrong facts. What amazes me in not that there have been so many failures but that so many have followed the same paths full of obvious pitfalls. What will amaze you, as you read this book,is how clearly you will see these pitfalls and how logical it is to take the paths without the pitfalls.
