She is best known for her appearance on the Black Entertainment Television reality series "Baldwin Hills". She also appeared in the documentary America the Beautiful in 2007. Gerren was born in Los Angeles, California.
She started modeling when she was twelve years old after being spotted by a talent scout in Los Angeles Park.
She was the youngest model ever signed by the runway division of Los Angeles Models. Taylor also signed with the Ford Modeling Agency and was booked by designers Tracy Reese, Tommy Hilfiger, and Betsey Johnson.
Taylor also appeared in the documentary, America the Beautiful, which takes a critical look at the nation’s obsession with beauty.
