Donor collections of oriental art, Smithsonian Institution, 1920. Gave large oriental collection of paintings, prints, bronzes, porcelains, et cetera, started by husband and self, to State of Oregon, placed in University of Oregon, at Eugene, also donated library of books on China and Japan to the Museum of Art, of which has been director since May 1921.
