Career

He was known as "Bora", or "Storm" and was responsible for an increase in the power and significance of the khanate. He was a supporter of science and culture. Fetih I lost the fight, and was executed by Ğazı II together with his family in 1597.

While he was buried in the khans" cemetery at Bakhchisaray Palace his grave was not preserved.

He was the father of Toqtamış Giray.
