FRASER, Gilbert was born on September 5, 1848 in Inverness. Youngest son of Gilbert Fraser, shipbuilder.

Education

Studied at public schools and privately. Trained for the Bar; second Vice-Consul at New York, 1874. First Vice-Consul, 1880.

Career

Consul, 1891; on numerous occasions acted Consul-General at New New York His Britannic Majesty’s Consul, Baltimore.
