Worked on designs of many buildings in Chicago (Daily News Building, Palmolive Building, Board of Trade Building, Stevens Hotel, et cetera) and throughout the United States. Appointed to Federal Housing Branch Number 2, of Public Works Administration, Washington, District of Columbia, December 2, 1935.
Commissioned to go to London for 3 months, August 1935, to design Earl’s Court, Exhibition Building, covering about 12 1/2 acres. Commissioned First lieutenant 119th Field Artillery, 32d Division, 40th Engineers Camouflage, France 1 year.
6 months at the front in Saint Mihiel.
