Pianist, organist, player of string orchestral instruments. Orchestral and chorus conductor. Director and piano teacher Combs Broad St. Conservatory of Music, which he founded 1885.

One of founders and president Sinfonia National musical fraternity. A founder Vice-President National Association of Schools of Music.
