Admitted to North Carolina bar, 1910 and practiced at Winston-Salem, North Carolina, 1910-1919. Member firm Hastings, Stephenson and Whicker, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, 1916-1919. Successively secretary, assistant trust officer, associate trust officer, vice president Wachovia Bank & Trust Company of North Carolina, 1919-1929.
