Mexican Business Activist and Entrepreneur. Promoter of the Mexican causes both in Mexico and the United States. He serves in the Board of Educational Foundations and Institutions.
He has actively promoted international education agreements and foreign direct investment in Mexico.
He has promoted the change of the Mexico narrative in the United States,focusing on "building bridges" between the two countries. He has done this through the collaboration with public and private sectors.
Gutierrez is the author of FuturoEducativoDistritos (2013) –Educational Future: School Districtsin which he makes the case for education system decentralization in Mexico, parent involvement in school activities and school district implementation. The book "Distritos" has been presented in several academic institutions and think tanks in Mexico and the United States, including the Brookings Institution.
Gildardo is also author of a number of papers including the Education Series for the Mexico Institute at the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars.
