American debut as Figaro, in Barber of Seville, at Metropolitan Opera House, New York, November 25, 1915, achieving immediate popularity. Sings principal rôles in Rigoletto, Barbiere, Don Giovanni, Otello, Don Carlos, Ernani, Dammnation of Faust, Don Pasquale, Hamlet, Trannhäuser, Parsifal, Pagliacci, Favorita, etc.
