In 1877 Gizo Kasuya left for America and graduated in law from Michigan University.
Career
When in 1890 Gizo Kasuya returned from the US, he was elected as a member of his prefectural assembly. Took to politics by publishing a newspaper called Jiyu Shimbun. He was a director of Seiyukai Party for a while.
Membership
Gizo Kasuya was a member of the House of Representatives ten times since 1898 and vice-chairman of the House of Representatives twice.
Connections
In 1891 Gizo Kasuya married the daughter of Keisuke whose family name he adopted.
