Career
On 21 September 2012 Gladestony joined São Paulo Football Club, being promoted to the main squad in February the following year. He left the club on 5 July 2013, after making no senior appearances, and signed for G.D. Estoril Praia. After being rarely used (only one Union of European Football Associations Europa League and one Taça de Portugal match), Gladestony returned to his home country in December, and signed a one-year deal with Internacional.
He made his Série A debut on 27 April 2014, coming on as a second-half substitute for Alan Patrick in a 2–2 away draw against Botafogo.
On 13 July 2015 Gladestony returned to Estoril, after agreeing to a two-year deal.
