After participating in the Russian-Japanese War (1904-1905), assisted his brother in the latter’s business in Dairen and became associated with the special service of the Japanese Army, the noble families of Mongolia and Lamas. When General Semionof began his second movement to bring independence to Mongolia and Manchuria he took active part, but was killed during the Manchurian Incident by Chinese soldiers while on his way to settle the Jehol issue.
