LEE, Gordon Ambrose de Lisle was born in July 1864 in Aberdeen. 2nd son of Reverend Doctor F. G. Lee, of All Saints’, Lambeth.

Education

Studied at Saint Mary's College, Harlow. Westminster School.

Career

An artist and designer in black and white, 1885-1889. Bluemantle Pursuivant of Arras, 1889- 1905. Member of the Council of the Japan Society, 1909.

L"ork Herald of Arms since 1905. Deputy Registrar of the Heralds’ College in 1899.
