Career
From Goronwy ab Ednyfed (d 1268) were descended the "Tudors of Penmynydd". His father was Ednyfed Fychan (died 1246), senechal to Llywelyn the Great, Prince of Wales. His mother, Gwenllian, was daughter of Rhys ap Gruffydd (Lord Rhys).
lieutenant is known that he inherited land in: Anglesey, Arllechwedd and Ceredigion.
