He was a right-handed batsman who played for Lincolnshire. He was born in Grimsby. Carsberg, whose career began with Nottinghamshire Second XI during the 1977 season, made a single List A appearance for Lincolnshire, during the 1988 National Westminster Trophy, against Lancashire.
