Career
1949 began composing. Did much research on Yakut folk music Made wide use of Yakut melodies, modernizing them in the light of modem operatic technique.
From 1953 instructor, Yakutsk Musical Arts College. IVor/is: opera ’’Lookut and Nyurgusun” (1959). First Yakut national operetta ’’Flower of the North" (1962).
Oratorio ’’Northern Spring” (1955). Symphony (1955); concerto on Yakut themes. Arranged Yakut folk songs, et cetera
