Grant William Ronald Morffew

Background

Grant William Ronald Morffew was born on September 15, 1968, in Pembury, Kent, England. He is the son of Derek and Veronica Morffew.

Education

Morffew earned a Bachelor of Science with honors from Lancaster University in 1985. He subsequently completed a Master of Science with distinction at the Social and Applied Psychology Unit of the University of Sheffield in 1989.

Career

Morffew served as coordinator of the Uphill Ski Club Great Britain in London from 1990 to 1991. He then worked as Clerk to the House at Coutts & Company between 1991 and 1993. From 1994 to 1998 he was managing consultant at Kaisen Consulting in Bristol before joining Accenture as a senior manager in London, where he worked from 1999 to 2003.

In 2003, he founded Omada Consulting and became its managing director. Under his leadership, the company has specialized in applying business psychology to executive development, leadership alignment, organizational transformation, and team effectiveness. His consulting work has included assignments for multinational organizations across industries including mining, financial services, technology, construction, healthcare, and media.

Achievements

• Morffew became a Chartered Psychologist of the British Psychological Society in 1998. He received the Freedom of the City of London in 1996 and was named a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Skinners in 2000. Earlier, he held a research scholarship funded jointly by the Economic & Social Research Council and the Medical Research Council in 1994.

Membership

Morffew served as President of the Lancaster University Students' Union from 1989 to 1990.
