He serves as chairman and chief executive officer of Motorola Solutions. Greg Brown is chairman and chief executive officer of Motorola Solutions, Incorporated. He joined Motorola in January 2003.
In March 2007, Brown became president and chief operating officer and was elected to the company"s board of directors.
He then became Chief Executive Officer of Motorola in January 2008. Prior to joining Motorola, he was chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Micromuse Incorporated. from 1999 to 2003.
He earned a bachelor"s degree in economics and an honorary doctorate in humane letters from Rutgers University, and also serves as chairman on the University’s board of governors.
Membership
Brown serves as chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and is a member of the executive committee of the Business Roundtable. Additionally, Brown is a board member of the Economic Club of Chicago and the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Brown is chairman of the Rutgers board and is a member of the finance committee for New Jersey Republican Governor Chris Christie"s 2016 presidential bid.
