Career
Corbett was best known for his work with the bluegrass bands The Country Gentlemen and The Circuit Riders. The son of Jimmy and Phebe Corbett, Greg began playing at a young age in groups such as the Dark Mountain Band. He joined The Country Gentlemen in 1991 as the group"s banjo player.
The group released a single Civil Defense in late 2006.
Corbett died on August 24, 2014, aged 41, from undisclosed causes. He was survived by his mother, maternal grandmother, sister, wife (Amanda Luther Corbett), two children, and extended family.
