His celebrity subjects have included Kim Basinger, Pierce Brosnan, Antonio Banderas, Anthony Hopkins, David Bowie, and Martina Navratilova. In Just Between Us, Gorman delves deeper into his obsession with the male nude, focusing his lens exclusively on one model, also named Greg. During the year of shooting, an unusual collaborative relationship evolves between Gorman and his subject, resulting in a photographic narrative unfettered by convention. A cinematic journey that explores the deepest aspects of mutual trust, Just Between Us features 250 photographs and is Gorman's most inspired body of work to date.

His work has been seen in national magazine features and covers, including Esquire, Gentlemen’s Quarterly, Interview, Life, Vogue, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, Time, Vanity Fair, and the London Sunday Times. John Waters once said, "Greg Gorman is the only person I"d let photograph my corpse". He primarily works in black-and-white.
He has also directed music videos, television advertisements, and graphic design layouts for advertisers.
On February 17, 2010 Greg Gorman was interviewed by fashion photographer and blogger Lope Navo.
