Career
Born in Gort, County Galway, Lally first excelled at hurling in his youth. At club level he is a two-time championship medallist with Gort. Lally made his debut on the inter-county scene at the age of eighteen when he first linked up with the Galway minor team
An All-Ireland runner-up in this grade, he later joined the under-21 side.
Lally made his senior championship debut during the 2015 championship.
