  • Achievements include novel system to monitor and regulate etch depth of D-type fibers. Co-development of method to put diffraction gratings directly on a fiber optic cable, coupling guided light to free space. Development of high performance analog fiber optic links.

    Research of high speed (Great Britain/s) digital communications Fiber Optics Links. Design and build of low power erbium doped fiber amplifiers (EDFA).
