Career
He started out as a guitarist in the 1970s teen group Rosetta Stone, then in the early 1980s he was the frontman for Perfect Crime. He then began a solo career, with his debut album, Think of Swans, on the Columbia Broadcasting System Records label. His second album was released on the ATCO label, Strong at Broken Places, with a third on the Electric and Music Industries label, Euroflake in Silverlake.
In the 21st century he continues to write and make music under the moniker "mary cigarettes".
