PLIEV, Grigoriy was born in 1913 in village Ruk, Southern Ossetia, Georgia, United States.


Graduated North Ossetian Pedagogical Technicum. 1935 graduated Moscow Theatrical Institute.


Translated into Ossetian: Pushkin’s “Tsygany” (Gypsies) and “Skazka о rybake i rybke” (The Tale of the Fisherman and the Little Fish). Shakespeare's “Othello”. Verse by Lermontov and Shevchenko.
